What a commission does not change

Commercial availability does not determine our evidence label, our description of limitations, or whether we identify a product as a fit for a particular home. Paid placement, if ever offered, will be labeled separately and will not be presented as an independent ranking.

Evidence labels

Pages will distinguish between hands-on testing, research based on attributed sources, and specifications-only references. A commission relationship is not evidence that a product performs as claimed.
